Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what data is collected and how we protect it.

1

Data collection

Persian Download Manager does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about your downloads. All files and URLs stay on your own device.

2

Website

Besides essential cookies (language, theme), this website shows Google ads (AdSense), personalised with cookies based on your visits to this and other sites. The PDM app itself has no ads or tracking. Turn off personalised ads

3

Browser extension

The Chrome extension is used only to detect download links in the moment and does not collect or transmit any browsing history or data.

4

Contact form

Information you enter in the contact form is used only to reply to your message and is never shared with any third party.

5

Updates

The app may contact our server to check for a new version; no identifying information is sent in that request.

6

Android app

The Android app has no account, and it does not collect personal data or send it to us, apart from feedback you choose to send. Your downloads, links, history and settings stay on your phone. The app connects only to the sites you download from. To tell a dead link from a network outage, it may send an empty check request to well-known addresses (such as Google, Cloudflare and a few Iranian websites), and it uses an alternative DNS service only when you choose one for a download. A link you copied is read only when you open the app, and only to offer it as a download. The version from our website asks our server for updates without sending identifying information; the versions from Google Play, Cafe Bazaar and Myket are updated by their store and never ask our server for updates. Feedback: in the website, Cafe Bazaar and Myket versions, the feedback you write is sent to our server with an optional email address for a reply, the app version and the app language (no device information); we use it only to read and answer it, and never share it. In the Google Play version (from version 1.6) the app sends nothing itself: it opens your own email app with your message, and you send it.

7

Android permissions

The Android app asks only for what its features need: internet and network state (downloading, and the Wi-Fi only and roaming rules), notifications (download progress), exact alarms (starting the night queue on time), starting after a reboot (resuming held downloads) and, on Android 9 and older, storage (saving files to the Download folder). None of them is used to collect data about you.

8

You always have full control over your data. For any privacy question, reach us through the contact page.
